ROBINSON CANO TAKES BP AT BBC – Last week NY Yankee Robinson Cano took batting practice at Bergen Batting Center as part of an ESPN shoot for Hispanic Heritage Month. Robbie’s dad Jose threw to him just like he did at the 2011 All Star Home Run Derby except they worked on some more technical things going through Robbie’s own pregame ritual of BP, not just the HR swing. Grandpa Cano also made the trip. ESPN accompanied Cano from his home in Jersey to BP, lunch, and to the stadium where he helped end the Yanks 3 game losing skid almost hitting for the cycle with a double, triple, and HR.  The ESPN special will air in September.
